Mountain View Elementary School Fundraiser
Mountain View Elementary School is having a fundraiser to raise money for our growing school, the Kindergarten start-up and for textbooks. The product they are selling is Butter Braid Pastries! Butter Braid pastries have been sold by fundraisers since 1991 across the United States. The product comes frozen and is baked fresh in your home. Contact Amy Crider at 396-5070 or Jared Meharry at 543-6223 or any one of the students of MVE to place your order. Price for each is $12 of which $5 is profit for the school. Orders must be placed by March 30th and will be delivered to the school by April 11th. Be sure to support our own Mountain View Elementary with this delicious fundraiser!
Tutor's Needed!
We now have 14 students at Mountain View Elementary! Praise the Lord! We are excited but busy! The school board is requesting volunteer help for Jared Meharry. We would like volunteers to come in for tutoring in math and reading with 1st and 2nd grade from 10:15-12:00 on Mondays - Thursdays. We ask that no current school parents apply for these positions. Please contact Jared Meharry if you are interested at 406-543-6223 or 406-552-5428.
GLOW - Giving Light to Our World
Dear Church Family,
Don't forget to pray for the GLOW tracts that have been handed out, that people will read them, and pray for people being receptive this week! Read some of them for a blessing for yourself and to help you introduce them. Finally, give tracts to whomever the Lord impresses you to. Blessings to you all!
Michelle Boothby - Church GLOW leader
Family Promise
Family Promise is forming and has a projected time for opening March 18. This is a non-profit interfaith hospitality network of local congregations to provide local mission work for the homeless with children. It gives people of all ages meaningful volunteer oportunities. There will be 13 congregations who take turns hosting 3-4 families (about 14 people) for one week, 3-4 times a year. The hosts will provide lodging, a hot dinner, simple breakfast and sack lunches. We are a support congregation. We will partner with our host by helping with food, supplies and volunteers. I should have more information especially which church we will be supporting soon! Please pray for this program! Feel free to talk to me or call me for further information and be thinking of possibly sharing some of your time for this worthy cause! Karen Granberry - 406-214-9625 or darbysenior@msn.com.
Enhancing our Singing at Camp Meeting
Any instrumentalist willing to participate during the time of congregational singing at Camp Meeting, please bring your musical instruments! We will be choosing music that will be best suited for playing along in a more impromptu fashion. Barry Taylor will be organizing this ensemble for Camp Meeting, June 13-16, 2012. For questions, or to let us know if we can count on you, please call Barry Taylor at 406-587-3101 ext 104, or Alvaro Sauza at 406-239-4380.
